Principal's Message

On behalf of St Columbkille’s Catholic Primary School, Corrimal, including our parish priests, Fr Patrick Vaughan and Fr Anthony Crook, I extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you and your family.

Our school acknowledges the traditional Aboriginal landowners and pays respect to past, present and emerging local Elders.

Established in 1904, St Columbkille's boasts a rich and celebrated history within the Corrimal community. Our traditions, values, values, and beliefs draw inspiration from the charism of St Mary of the Cross Mackillop and the Sisters of St Joseph.

Our school's vision "Learning together, Shaping futures", and motto "Christ is the Way", serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to faith, education, and the holistic wellbeing of every individual. We actively strive to cultivate a learning environment rooted in the principles of mutual respect, empathy, tolerance, and forgiveness. By setting high expectations and nurturing a supportive atmosphere, we aim to create an educational environment where every student feels secure and motivated to reach their full potential.

We take great pride in St Columbkille's, the quality of our relationships, and the exceptional education we provide. Our students, staff, and parents uphold and enact the core values of respect, responsibility, faith, learning, community, and celebration.

As an integral part of the Northern Illawarra Catholic Parishes, we are fortunate to have the guidance of Fr Patrick Vaughan and Fr Anthony Crook, as well as a supportive and dedicated parent and grandparent community, committed to making a positive impact on our school.

I am honoured and humbled to serve and lead such a remarkable school community and warmly invite you to join us at St Columbkille's Catholic Primary School, Corrimal.

Warm regards,

Maria Disibio
Acting Principal
