Principal's Message

On behalf of St Columbkille’s Catholic Primary School, Corrimal, including our parish priests, Fr Patrick Vaughan and Fr Geoff Allen, I wish to extend a very warm welcome to you and your family.

The school acknowledges the original Aboriginal landowners and extends respect to past, present and future local Elders.

St Columbkille’s was founded in 1904 and has a long, rich and celebrated history within the Corrimal community. Our traditions, values and beliefs are inspired by the charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and the Sisters of St Joseph.

Our school vision ‘Learning together, Shaping futures’ and motto ‘Christ is the Way’ highlight our commitment to our faith, learning, and the development of students who are resilient, assertive and persistent. Read more About Us.

The wellbeing of our students, staff and parents is at the very heart of our school community. We continue to work tirelessly to establish a learning environment that is built on mutual respect, understanding, tolerance and forgiveness. See What We Offer.

We are exceptionally proud of St Columbkille’s, the quality of the relationships that we build and the standard of education that we deliver. It is a place where our students, staff and parents uphold and action the core values of respect, responsibility, faith, learning, community and celebration that we are invested so heavily in.

As an integral part of the Northern Illawarra Catholic Parishes, we are very fortunate to have the guidance of Fr Patrick Vaughan and Father Geoff Allen and a parent and grandparent community that is highly supportive and dedicated to making a positive difference to the life of our school.

At St Columbkille’s, we set high expectations and pride ourselves in providing a learning environment where every student feels happy, safe, valued and loves their school. Find out more about our Learning and Teaching.

I am very proud, privileged and humbled to be serving and leading such a wonderful school community and warmly invite you to be a part of St Columbkille’s Catholic Primary School, Corrimal.

Take careMr Brad Colquhoun
